Cancellation & Refund Policy

1. General Overview

At Skyline Travel Company, transparency and trust are our highest priorities. This Cancellation & Refund Policy outlines the rules, service fees, and timelines applicable to all flight bookings made through our platform. All cancellations and refunds are processed strictly according to airline fare rules.

2. Cancellation Charges

All cancellation requests are subject to two components:

(a) Airline Cancellation Fees
  • These charges vary by airline, fare type, class of service, and the time remaining before departure.
  • Skyline Travel Company has no control over these fees.
(b) Skyline Service Fee
  • A fixed service fee of USD 20 per ticket is charged by Skyline Travel Company to process each cancellation request.
  • This fee is non-refundable, irrespective of the airline’s refund decision.

3. Refund Eligibility & Processing

Refunds are processed only after the airline settles the refund amount with Skyline Travel Company.

(a) Refund Processing Flow
  • Passenger submits a cancellation request to Skyline.
  • Airline processes the request as per their fare rules.
  • Airline refunds if customer is eligible
  • Skyline processes the refund to the customer’s original payment method (PayPal).
(b) Timeline
  • Refunds typically take 5–7 business days after Skyline receives funds from its airline

Please Note: Airline timelines may vary, especially during peak seasons or operational delays.

(c) Additional Charges
  • Any PayPal currency conversion or transaction fee will be borne by the customer.

4. Partial Refunds

Some tickets may be partially refundable depending on airline rules.
In such cases, the refunded amount will be:

  • Refund Amount = Airline Refund – Airline Fees – Skyline Service Fee (USD 20)
  • Skyline will transfer the remaining balance to the customer via PayPal.

5. No-Show & Missed Flight Policy

  • A “no-show” occurs when the passenger fails to board the flight without prior cancellation.
  • Most airlines treat no-shows as non-refundable.
  • Skyline’s service fee of USD 20 per ticket applies to evaluate or process such cases.
  • Any refund is entirely subject to airline approval.

6. Date, Time, and Itinerary Changes

Flight changes are processed as per airline regulations.

Charges Applicable
  • Airline change penalty: Varies by airline and fare class
  • Skyline service fee: USD 20 per ticket
  • Fare difference: Applies if the new fare is higher

All changes are subject to availability at the time of modification.

7. Non-Refundable & Special-Fare Tickets

Some discounted, promotional, or low-cost carrier tickets may be fully non-refundable.
Skyline will still charge the standard USD 20 service fee for processing these requests.

8. Important Notes

  • All airline rules supersede Skyline Travel Company policies.
  • Service fees charged by Skyline are independent of airline decisions.
  • The customer is responsible for providing accurate information while requesting changes or cancellations.
